Our economy is a MUCH BIGGER issue. The Ebola "scare" is just another fear tactic to keep America's mind off of the real issues. And it works EVERY time.

Another worker in Dallas infected............CDC Admits more incompetence and don't worry flying in more is no risk

Agreed! When you have almost 40% of the work force still out of work and disposable income is disappearing for lower tax brackets, you can not expect it to recover in the short term.

There hasn't been a change in the economy that warranted the price run ups this year the way they have been anyways.

I work for a company that used to give a pretty decent wage increase annually but we've only been getting a 2% or 3% increase the past few years while the cost of living has been increasing (overall) by much more. So, in essence, we've been taking a cut in pay each year based on the lower buying power.

In March of 2009, as a result of the genius of the great GOP, the market was below 6550. What we are seeing now is a correction. Once that is over, probably with a 10% loss, it will be on it's way up again.

When I was a boy, we had 60,000 cases of polio. 3000 deaths. That was 1952. Everybody knew somebody that had a child crippled with that disease. A vaccine was developed, and that disease is almost totally wiped out in the US. And here we have our 'Conservatives' in a total panic about a disease that has thus far infected two, and kill one, here in the US. If the Canadians have not already beat us to it, we will develop a vaccine, and that will be that for that disease.
