White House Won't Nominate Eric Holder's Successor Before Midterms

The White House said on Tuesday it won't nominate a successor to
outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder until after the Nov. 4 midterm elections.

A White House official said the delay was sought by Senate Democrats, many of whom are facing tough reelection battles in their bid to keep the majority.

Please, God and Baby Jesus, help President Obama nominate a Black Muslim who is pro-gay rights and a hardliner on gun trafficking and background checks. And then give the President the courage to make the appointment while the Senate is in recess. And let the new AG take the oath with his hand on the Quran.

That's the guy that just quit...any other suggestions?

The only race pimp worse than Holder would be that Crump guy. He's in.

Hmm, you gotta wonder.
The original idea for the timing of Holder's departure (who resigns before a big election??) was that his successor could get confirmed through the Democrat Senate. After the election of course no one expects the Senate to remain Democrat.
But now obviously that is dwarfed by the fear that the negatives on whomever Obama picks will overshadow the election, making things even worse.
Wow, the Dems have really dug their graves here.
