What has traitor Joe done about US federal debt since he arrived in DC?

He had made his family worth hundreds of millions, and laughs at all the expensive military equipment he just gifted to Taliban.....

Biden sucks and he's spending us into the ground. I only said he didn't mathematically increase the debt six times since he took office, your math was wrong

WTF?
Holy shit, you cant...................I guess you can, be that stupid, then dumb enough to repeat it..............in public?

The majority of people want an amendment change, they write their congresspeople.
The majority (2/3rds) of congresspeople and senators vote and the amendment passes or fails.
The majority of write their state legislators and they vote, if 3/4 of the states agree, then amendment passes.

'because the founders knew that unrestrained democracy is as shitshow".

WOW, just WOW.
Must have been "egukaded" through Q NUT daily or Trump U.
I would like to see a Constitutional Convention pass a few needed Amendments, all that is needed is 27 state legislatures. For example, if the dems pass HR-1, it can be undone by a Constitutional Convention of the States.
The Constitution provides that an amendment may be proposed either by the Congress with a two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate or by a constitutional convention called for by two-thirds of the State legislatures. None of the 27 amendments to the Constitution have been proposed by constitutional convention. The Congress proposes an amendment in the form of a joint resolution. Since the President does not have a constitutional role in the amendment process, the joint resolution does not go to the White House for signature or approval. The original document is forwarded directly to NARA's Office of the Federal Register (OFR) for processing and publication. The OFR adds legislative history notes to the joint resolution and publishes it in slip law format. The OFR also assembles an information package for the States which includes formal "red-line" copies of the joint resolution, copies of the joint resolution in slip law format, and the statutory procedure for ratification under 1 U.S.C. 106b.

Equivocation. Cute. Where I come from, a majority is 1/2+. Not 2/3, not 3/4. Amending the Constitution requires more than a simple majority. Much more. The simple fact, that you're trying to squirm away from, is that the Constitution was designed as a counter to your beloved "majority rule". The founders recognized that mob rule is fickle and dangerous, so they deliberately set up roadblocks to mitigate it.

You really could clear this up by just doing some reading. The Federalist Papers would be a good start. But any general historical text should fill in the blanks for you.
WOW, just wow.

The Federalist papers informed you of that?
Must be a bootleg copy they donated to Trump U.

"Any historical text"?

Try reading the constitution, if you can get by the 2nd amendment.

Article V (5) of the constitution. (For grade school)

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.

Huh? 27 state legislatures?
Typo?
That would be 38 or 37.5.

HR-1 isn't an amendment, it's a bill.

You are correct. I misread the link. I got it right on the new thread. Thx.
True HR-1 is a democrat Bill to make elections too easy to cheat. IMHO an amendment would make elections more secure.

Spin, deflect, wash, rinse, repeat.
