The West has to have moral clarity and not succuumb to ambivalence as it pertains to democratic allies. Yes,.demand more from all nations,.especially in regards to domestic civil liberties. However, some seem destined to cloud comparison of animals who attack with knives innocent people sleeping in their homes or dancing at a club. Extending further their carnage by kidnapping and engaging in all manner of crimes with these hostages. There is no moral equivalency between a nation defending their citizens and those purposely targeting innicent civilians. In fact, one might argue that we are immoral.
