Damn good question! I figure they are mentally ill brainwashed with a dose of stockholm syndrome thrown in.

They immediately called the Bundy protesters terrorists. They loved it when one was shot. Of course, the protesters in Ferguson and Baltimore were regarded as heroes for turning on their fellow citizens and destroying their neighborhoods.

As always, with the left, they will tolerate anything as long as it furthers their agenda.

If the Oregon protesters hadn't ran away from the police when they were supposed to stop at that check point, everyone would still be alive.

That is understood by reasonable people. Notice there was no violence during the Oregon protests and no riots after the guy got shot. Can't say the same for some JUSTIFIED shootings by police in Ferguson and other places. The people went crazy, didn't care about facts, and destroyed their own neighborhoods.

The left has embraced some violent organizations, such as BLM, Black Panthers, and even the OWS protesters, despite the disgusting and criminal behavior of the members.

Both parties have always believed in freedom of speech and approved of citizen speaking out against government. The left only approves when protesters are objecting to Republicans. When protesters stand up to Democrat administrations, they call it treason. Treason is betraying your country, not opposing those in government. Government and country can be quite opposite, like the current administration that wants to transform America.
