Chicken and eggs. Electric cars without charging stations are very large doorstops. Charging stations without electric cars are expensive wastes of prime parking.

Eventually, the market will decide if electric cars go from novelty status to utility status.

It's a "golf cart" type crippled limited purpose utility vehicle. Depends where you want to drive it. Can't you just plug it in at a standard RV hookup 110 or 220 volt outlet? No! You need some special proprietary hookup gimmicky for it.
