Why do liberals criticize Romneys lack of military experience, but not Obamas???

President Obama served four years in the Senate, Romney served four years as Governor. Obama held his seat while campaigning, just like every Senator holds his seat while campaigning.

What does the failed governorship of Romney tell us? That he was one and done....didn't even try to get reelected.

He won election to the U.S. Senate in Illinois in November 2004. His presidential campaign began in February 2007. He was a full time Senator for 2 years.

Did you also deduct service time from Senators Clinton, McCain and Biden who were running for president at the same time?

And this glittering JEWEL of nonsense means WHAT exactly?

Easy. Obama has now shown himself to be a proven CIC.

Mittens has shown himself to be a draft dodger that supported the war he dodged and a man with 5 sons that didn't bother to get even one of his kids in the military.

See the difference? Prolly not.

Tell you what. Since you judge Obama's lack of military experience AFTER he's had 4 years as POTUS, why don't we let Romney have his 4 years, and THEN we can discuss relative lack of military experience.

It's not just Mitts lack of Military experience but foreign policy in general. Being Governor of Massachusets does not give you much foreign policy experience......he cannot even see Russia from his house

It's true, Romney has no experience bowing to foreign leaders.
Of course, McCain had tons more foreign policy experience than the part time Senator from Illinois.

Rightwinger, stop identifying yourself to the world as born and incorrigible liar, and change your monicker.

Since you question Governor Romney's foreign policy experience and his qualification to be President, please tell the world how having been a community organizer, a half-term State Senator and a half-term United States Senator qualified Obama to be President.

Your snide reference to the idiocy by liberal-whore Tina Fey, attributed to Sarah Palin only reveals your mean-spirited ignorance.

The fact is that Sarah Palins role as part time Governor did not provide her with any more foreign policy experience than the failed Governor of Massachusetts. When you see Mitt...Think Palin

Palin was the Governor of the state of Alaska and the CIC of the Alaska National Guard. That beats the hell out of being 1 of 100 voting the way the Senate party leader tells you to as Obama did.

In reading John McCains website he claims to have 26 years experience as a Senator. Yet, in running for reelection four times and president twice he was not doing his job as Senator. That leaves him with 20 years of actual experience

Is McCain lying about his service in the Senate or are the Republicans just being dicks about Obamas time in the Senate?

The thread title says it all.

Have at it.

Why? Liberals shy away from criticizing Obama’s military experience because he’s a Democrat and on the “same team”. I thought this was rather obvious...

This “pick and choose” criticism happens all of the time, and on both sides of the aisle. For instance, why do Republicans criticize Obama for the high price of gasoline today when they failed to criticize Bush for $4/gallon gas in the summer of 2008?

.

There is a difference between turning 18 in 1965 and turning 18 in 1979.

In 1965, Romney had to use whatever connections and deferments he could get to avoid being drafted. There is nothing wrong with that as millions of other eligible males were doing the same thing. With Romney it is different because he protested FOR the war to make others fight while he, himself used connections to get out of it

In 1979, we had a volunteer army and we were not at war. Obama had a choice to enter service or not. Like millions of others, he decided not to enter the military

With that historical fact your fellow liberals still bashed Romney's sons for not not choosing to enter the military, under the same conditions.

If you could name just one instance when Romney did anything illegal, regarding military service, I could perhaps sympathize with their narrow-minded view.

Nobody is saying Romney did anything illegal in running to France to avoid service

The question is his ethics in Protesting in favor of a war that he had no intention of serving. How can Romney protest to send other boys his age to VietNam while using his political connections to avoid the draft himself?

He has exactly as much foreign policy experience as Obama had when all you morons voted for him.

I suppose being born in Kenya, raised in Indonesia, and later transplanted to HI by way of CT (see SSN issued in that state) qualifies obama as a master at international relations?

US Senators vote on foreign policy issues......Governors do not

How does that qualify as "foreign policy experience?" Any asshole can cast a vote.

Maybe RW was counting Obama's 'Present' Vote as he was camapigning?

They'll NEVER admit they voted for a Inexperienced nobody yet will run down a Governor of a state, just like they did Palin..I would trust their judgments any day over a lowly state Senator and Junior Senator of less than TWO years in Congress..

Obama was MANUFACTURED...all there is to it.

The liar "BOYKING" has no business in the Whitehouse.
