Why do you think this school district is having parents sign waivers so they won't eavesdrop on kids in-home learning.

Some students are not as smart as their parents think they are, and the teachers are not inclined to push them as much as the parents think the teachers should. And then, there are other children participating in the online class and they have a right to privacy.

They are my kids, the state says I am responsible for them, they are under my roof, with me paying for their food, their internet access and computer, their electricity. I also pay the school district to teach my kids. I would take such a privacy wavier and return unsigned and if they denied my children an education, I would file a lawsuit and they would fold like a cheap suit.
