How come Solar and Wind are failing in California, we get brown-outs all the time, we have been building Solar and Wind plants non stop for over thirty years. Solar and Wind can not even pump water in our state or any state, not even 1% yet you run your mouth like money flows out of it.

Hundreds of billions of dollars wasted on Green Energy and we have just begun.

But Ray......you cant leave out the "as compared to what?" question. Lots of things in the market can be growing but the critical factor is how much is it growing compared to how much it used to grow......or how much it is growing relative to other energy markets. Its the only thing that is material to the discussion.

As the graph above clearly displays......after 2007, the market in renewables has fallen like a stone in water. It might be growing yes, but it was growing like the NY City skyline circa 1930 from 2003 - 2007. Now Ray? Growing like grass during this recent California drought. This is precisely why you saw this IPCC report now.......the report is akin to a crash cart being brought to a cardiac arrest victim. The EU has given a tremendous kick in the balls to renewables in the past 2 years ( many, many links in the thread PROOF THE SKEPTICS ARE WINNING ). At this point, it is not even debatable.

Seems to be popular. The US has the largest geothermal capacity but the Philippines is number two and gets 27% of its total power from geothermal sources.

Compared to the mid-2000's, its growing like a snails pace. Again.....growth rates in any market are only impressive when you look at the context = how is it growing compared to last year and the years before and how does its growth compare to other entities in the market. When you compare renewables to other sources of energy, its like a few grains of sugar in your morning mug of java


Again......curious parties should take a gander up to look again at the RENIXX market graph.
