Rice never lied
She most certainly did. She knew the nuclear experts said that the aluminum tubes were not suitable for centrifuges used in nuclear enrichment, but she went on several Sunday morning talk show and said they did. All part of a year long attempt to frightfucked...um..... to convince Americans how much of a threat Iraq was. She was never received the public ridiculed and scorn the other Rice did, who got a detail of the Benghazi attack wrong. Completely after the fact too unlike the previous example where the lies helped sell a war that cost so much in blood and treasure.
Rice got a "detail" of the Benghazi attack wrong? Did you seriously just try to run that up the flag pole, Boo? Susan Rice misled the American people on the very ESSENCE of what the Benghazi attack was! The only question that remains is whether she knowingly lied...or was simply naive, trusting and let herself be trotted out to all those Sunday morning news shows with lies someone else provided!
Nope that assessment is just plain wrong.
"First of all, there’s an FBI investigation which is ongoing. And we look to that investigation to give us the definitive word as to what transpired. But putting together the best information that we have available to us today our current assessment is that what happened in Benghazi was in fact initially a spontaneous reaction to what had just transpired hours before in Cairo, almost a copycat of-- of the demonstrations against our facility in Cairo, which were prompted, of course, by the video. What we think then transpired in Benghazi is that opportunistic extremist elements came to the consulate as this was unfolding. They came with heavy weapons which unfortunately are readily available in post revolutionary Libya. And it escalated into a much more violent episode. Obviously, that’s-- that’s our best judgment now. We’ll await the results of the investigation."

They got it wrong that there was a protest in Benghazi that the extremist joined, there was none. But they certainly got it right about the extremist element. That is the essence of the attack. But it is an excellent example of how the Right wing echo machine has fine tuned their base into believing their bullshit.
