Why I would be happy if Trump runs....

I think that you'd have to be truly delusional to think that Donald Trump has ANY chance of ever being president. However, I would be glad if he joins the fray for 3 important reasons:

First and foremost, the sheer entertainment value.

Second, trump will be merciless in attacking any front runner in the GOP primaries, making him the biggest asset that the DNC could ever have hoped for.

Third, the likes of Trump parading on stage during the debates or at any of his rallies, will make sane republicans cringe and be utterly disgusted with their own party.

Soooooooooo: Run, Donald, run.

I expect that the Donald will anounce that he is running for president and play the game for awhile. In previous election cycles he played the media that he might run only to back off short of announcing. Having done that several times I suspect he will run to make the story different this time. Also, his ego is big enough that he actually thinks he has a chance of winning.

Trump is the most rude, offensive and downright moronic of all the other billionaires who "think" that they have a platform because they can stand on their hefty bank books

He's the perfect republican, ridiculously self-centered, rich, and totally ignorant of how people actually live.

Hmmm....I think you underestimate him. Now I don't think he will get the nomination but you would be shocked about how many people vote on name recognition and celebrity status. Hillary is feasting right now based on that alone. People said very similar things about Ronald Reagan...'who would ever vote for an actor?' Well the joke was on them. There are a lot of people who have lost a lot of money betting against Trump. Like I said, I don't think he will get the nomination, but if he is actually taking this seriously instead of a publicity stunt, he presents himself appropriately, and focuses on his economic abilities.....I think people blow him off at their own peril. We will see. H. Ross Perot handed Bill Clinton the White House on a silver platter because he presented himself as a competent and successful businessman and split the Republican vote.

Trump has destroyed more wealth than he has made, he is reckless and foolhardy with his and other people's money, why he still has any is a mystery.

Well that depends on how you spin that. Never underestimate the spinmeisters. If he can show that he has destroyed other people's fortunes while building his own and can demonstrate that he will build America's fortune and destroy...say Iran or Russia's....that will score points. It doesn't even matter if it's true. No one else on either side of the aisle says anything that is true. Why should he? It's all in how you spin it

Ultimately, Trump is a "gift" to the DNC......at least until after the first couple of debates.

It's not spin, he has lost much more money on bad bets than he has made.

I don't see how. If Trump survives that long he will drag the candidates to the middle where one must be to win. This is far different than Bernie Sanders who is dragging Hillary the opposite way. Right now here's the direction she is heading.

Have you noticed how her poll numbers have plunged? With her name recognition she should be up by double digit points over any Republican, yet that isn't the case and some of them are actually beating her in critical swing states. Do you really think the focus on her will get more positive?

I T D O E S N T M A T T E R! It only matters how they tell the story. Think anyone, even liberals, are buying Hillary's excuses about her emails? Pffft...no! If they do they are too stupid to cast a vote. It only matters if you tell a story and stick to it
