Only thing I can think of is that Sanders is not corrupt enough for them.

The way I see it, they let him run against Hillary because he's not really a Democrat, he just align with them, and it would've been easy victory for Hillary. When Sanders became a trouble for Hillary, they simply had to fix the primaries for Hillary.

Fast forward four years, they still let Sanders to run as Democrat, although they have almost nobody to run against him Biden was never leading candidate, media hyped that he is so they can run along with Democrats towards impeachment for "investigation of political rival". The proof for that are Iowa caucuses. Not single precinct had Biden as their leading candidate.

Democrats should worry, because as it stands now, their best hope to prevent Sanders nomination is Buttigieg. While media is relying strictly on deceiving polls, the ballot box, just as in 2016, says otherwise. For instance, every poll conducted had Biden in solid lead, but in Iowa he got 4th place. More voters saw of him, less they like him.

Back to your question, Sanders is a socialist, not Democrat. They will not allow him to be nominated, even the rest of their candidates more or less agree with him on everything.

We are all for free speech. It is most certainly Democrats who aren't. Bigot and Democrat are almost synonymous. Any varying of opinion causes outrage.

Deregulation helps business of all sizes. What about the commercial fisherman who owns his own boat? Do you think he is hurt by ignorant and idealistic college kids and professors who push for too many fishing regulations? What about the person trying to start a business from scratch that has to pay for permits for virtually everything. Do you think that encourages or discourages new businesses?

I found a good source of information about regulation and deregulation under Trump thus far. Even with the liberal spin put on the explanations by the Brookings Institute, and though I may not agree with all of the regulation/deregulation, this list reminds me of why I voted for Trump and why I will do so again this year.
