Why is everyone from Biden to the media to this board so obsessed with Russia when China is the bigger threat?

:laughing0301: I wouldn't need to sell you anything, don't need to.
You're just stuck with what you're fed.
Oh boy, tantrum time already.

Of course, corporate taxes were higher in the 50s, 60s and 70s. But the foreign exodus started in the 80s right after we lowered corporate taxes again.

So CLEARLY it was because of taxes.

Makes sense, after a botched lobotomy. or if you have e been clinging to a dumb, false narrative and a childish political fetish for 40 years and it has handicapped your brain.

China is the one actually enslaving & murdering people. They are the ones who CONSTANTLY violate human rights. They are the ones playing with bio weapons. They are the ones who rule with an iron fist. They are the ones who steal our intellectual property. They are the ones constantly caught spying on us. They are the ones imposing their censorship on the world. They are the ones preparing to invade Tiwan and other Asian nations.

Meanwhile we are hyper focused on Ukraine. A nation we've all but ignored till now..
Easy answer, China is taking cues from Russia.

They are both wanting to invade something.

I think he means, blame for china's economic growth. But why anyone would blame our own leaders for that is truly a mystery.
Because it was Chinas acceptance as a viable trade partner that is directly responsible for their economic growth. The US and our European allies were MAJOR players in making that happen. We have directly allowed China's influence to grow without any real requirements on growing that relationship. The concept has always been greater exposure, trade and wealth would naturally lead to a more open, democratic and free China. That supposition has proven to be resoundingly false.

Of course we have profited massively because of that trade relationship as well however, in 20/20 hindsight, we did a very poor job in how we have fostered that relationship. Perhaps there is nothing we could have done to influence China from being authoritarian but then is the gained wealth from trade with China worth the price? As China gains more influence we may realize it was not.

Their organic impulse is to place 100% of the blame on the other tribe, regardless of how much stretching it takes.

The notion that blame can be honestly shared is repugnant to them. That's how they're conditioned.
It's almost like you didn't read my post or those of some of the others.

You piss and moan when the right paints with a broad brush yet here you are repeatedly doing it.

Dude, I'm not disagreeing with you as to the reasons they left. I'm placing blame on our government putting the squeeze on them to the point
that they packed up the corporate offices and left. I'm placing blame on both sides to this issue.
True but let's be real here, only China is a national security threat to us and others. Korea, Indonesia etc... pose no risk to us so we aren't securing our own demise when dealing with them.

We're our own enemy more than anyone else is.
China has not “destroyed the manufacturing industries of most of the world” … nor has Russia , India, Bangladesh, Venezuela, Brazil, Vietnam, Mexico, etc. While the U.S. was literally “destroying” countries in the Middle East and elsewhere, China was staying home and developing its own industries, training workers and scientists, developing a huge new middle class, and steadying the world economy during the Asian financial meltdown and 2008 financial collapse.

It was bipartisan U.S. policy to offshore factory production, opposed mainly by our trade unions for decades. It was ordinary “capitalism” seeking cheaper and more efficient labor, and a conscious decision our leaders made to use China against the USSR.

Generations of hardworking Chinese sacrificed to raise their own living standards, which still are far below our own on a per capital basis. China’s rise out of deep poverty is not in itself the problem. The problem may be that we just don’t know how to accomodate them, to deal properly with their historically-evolved, authoritarian and to us rather repulsive, one party system.

The nation was becoming a debtor one from the great society agendas. The growth of social programs was growing exponentially. Ten per cent a year for programs back then. Social Security taxes from the oldest generation employees were now retiring. The taxes were increased big time from already high confiscation. The Boomers who were twice the size of that generation paid the bills and smoothed it a bit. By the year 2000 Boomers were slowing down in their spending and in their wages compared to the 1990's. Generation X is half the size of the Boomers. With the Millenium generation the same size but much more diverse and full of hate. Many of the national corporations who you do not like sold their business to foriegners. You equate nationalism with fascism and you are a moron if you think that. But most likely you are a shill that would at least give you an excuse. Buying all of those foreign made cars with most of them being Progs who did it. Even with the inferiority of the American products. Loyalty could be painful.

The only thing handicapped is your sorry ass, FFI.

If you weren't trying to baffle everyone with your bullshit, FFI. Your right, it was Tax rates and it's still tax rates, JUST LIKE I SAID.
Other countries lowered theirs more than we lowered ours. This might be news to you, companies don't go to other countries
with higher taxes.....true story.

Trump finally lowered them, and it looks like they will be going back up. But...it's taxes taxes taxes. The only brain that is handicapped is that one between your ears.
