WHY Is It So Important For The Biden Administration To Hide The Identity Of The police Officer Who Shot/Killed Ashli Bobbitt?

Why can't the Biden Administration Be Transparent And Officially Release The name Of The Capitol Police Officer Who Shot & Killed Ashli Babbitt on 6 January Inside the US Capitol?

I have read several articles from several different Internet sites and several different Media Sources, but there is no definitive evidence or unified agreement 'THIS is The Officer Who Killed Babbitt'.

Was / Is it US Capitol Special Agent David Bailey, a Brazilian immigrant and Black Lives Matter militant who 'REPEATEDLY THREATENED TO KILL TRUMP SUPPORTERS ON FACEBOOK FOR MONTHS'?

Or was it Capitol Police Officer Michael Leroy Byrd, an officer who was reportedly investigated in 2019 for leaving his weapon in the Capitol Visitor Center's bathroom?

One thing is for sure - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, head of the Capitol police, Joe Biden, and the Biden administration know. So why have they refused to be transparent, to relase the information, and have refused to allow the Capitol Video footage to be released?

What evidence do you have that Biden has stopped the release of the name?
I'll say none. It's not as if it matters to republicans because you lot started the riot in the first place.
Capitol Police POLICY is that the names of officers are not made public in the case of shootings like this.

That's not new. We still don't have the names of the CP officers who shot the black woman who made a wrong turn in front of the Capitol several years back.

And for the record...the CP are as much McConnell's police as they are Pelosi's. In actuality neither controls their actions.

Schumer now controls them along with Pelosi. What are the dems hiding?

When the Insurrection occurred, McConnell was Majority Leader dope.

But hey....a 6/1 Commission SHOULD be empaneled to answer these question but guess who is blocking THAT?

Yea...the GOP

Is this policy stated in black and white anywhere? Or is this what you imagine?
And who grants this force the authority to murder?

Or are we all to take for granted that this police force has the power of life and death over citizens
by dint of extrajudicial executions (i.e. done in contravention of due process of law) because the Bill of
Rights doesn't extend to these Congressional Praetorian Guards for some magical reason?

"The Capitol Police Board is made up of three voting members: the House sergeant-at-arms (nominated by the House speaker), the Senate sergeant-at-arms (nominated by the Senate majority leader), and the Architect of the Capitol (nominated by the president).

It is this board, rather than the police chief, that holds much of the power over important day-to-day decisions, from Capitol security to firing officers. But the public almost never hears from the board. And a 2017 report from the Government Accountability Office found that many in Congress also believe "the board does not operate in a transparent manner." Davis said the full board had not testified together before Congress since 1945."

Pelosi NOMINATES only one of the three Board members who control that force.

The CP is exempt from FOI requests and has no real civilian oversight. Is that right? Probably not. Should it be changed? Probably. But that is and has been the case for decades. It is not something new.

As far as

ALL police agencies in the country have that power stupid. Good luck eliminating it

Time for an investigation....why did the Republicans stonewall?

Where there is valid justification, the case should never get anywhere near a courtroom.
Get the grand jury going!
What's the point. The officer was cleared, and he has a justification defense against any action.

All a grand jury would do is affirm what the investigation concluded.
Sorry, an INDEPENDENT investigation would not return a “justifiable homicide” bullshit finding. The Capitol Police are desperate to keep this murderer hidden to prevent ANY real investigation. That tells educated people all we need to know.
Why are you afraid of an investigation?

I said there was no mob following Ashli Babbitt through a broken out window into the inner hall where
Babbitt was killed in a lawless act of extrajudicial murder.
Well DUH !!!

After Ashli got shot for entering that window, the crowd decided following in her footsteps wasn't a good idea.
What's not surprising is a mob of tough male thugs pushing a small woman in first.

David Chauvin, for one, certainly wishes that were true...stupid!
Or do you not understand what "extrajudicial" killings are? Despite the fact I included a
definition of the term?

I can't help such ignorance. You shouldn't be arguing what you do not comprehend.

So should I answer myself the question I asked you? Does the Capital police have the authority of life and death over American citizens? Apparently the answer is yes.

Chauvin killed a man who was helpless and begging for his life.

There's no comparison

This is why we need a bi-partisan investigation. To find out did Ashli volunteer to go first, or did others in the crowd provoke her actions.

Duh !!! Every agency that are authorized to carry firearms has that power.

Whether the Army, the FBI, or the Police. The very reason they are issued firearms is to invoke lethal force against a person or persons.

If that happened during a war, and Floyd was an enemy combatant, what Chauvin did would be a war crime.

Floyd surrendered, and Chauvin killed him anyway.

Murder of protected persons.—Any person subject to this chapter who intentionally kills one or more protected persons shall be punished by death or such other punishment as a military commission under this chapter may direct

The term ‘protected person’ means any person entitled to protection under one or more of the [1949] Geneva Conventions, including … military personnel placed out of combat by sickness, wounds, or detention

Of course there isn't.

Ashli Babbitt never got the chance to beg for her life.
And we will never be allowed to know who pulled that trigger and that cop will
never go to jail for callously snuffing out Babbitt's life or stand trial.

And no one burned down buildings, smashed out store windows or turned over police cruisers in the aftermath of her death. And there is no "Ashli Babbitt Autonomous Zone" that is crime and filth
ridden in the middle of DC.

You don't seem even remotely bright enough to realize I am not comparing the deaths of Floyd and
Babbitt in any sense except that there is zero accountability in Babbitt's case.
That is far beyond your ability to comprehend.

Whereas in the case of lifelong scumbag thug, George Floyd, who died as a result of committing
yet several other crimes (drugs and counterfeiting) the whole country was under the threat ofun
nationwide violence and more deaths. We still are actually, if Chavin gets a retrial, which is a given
in a fair nation.

And Ashli? This unarmed Air Force veteran was dismissed by our Department of In-Justice with a coat of white wash.
Her execution was deemed appropriate by the DOJ quislings.

And Floyd was eulogized by Joe fuckin' Biden and all sorts of other disreputable politicians
and racial opportunists like Al Sharpton. George Floyd funeral service: List of speakers, order of service

And who grieved at the public funeral of Ashli Babbitt? There wasn't one. Truthfully we should all grieve for ourselves that we live in a nation that is so corrupt and evil patriots are crushed under the boot heels of
killer cops and the politicians they serve.

Like Houston McCoy and Charles Whitman.

The events of the 6th would have been dwarfed by what would have happened across this nation had Trump won. The burning, rioting, and civil unrest would have been welcomed and embraced by the very people that scream the sky is falling. Interesting in how one can look the other way when it comes to furthering ones political narrative.

We will never know if your destruction fantasy would have happened because Biden won and democracy was saved.

A Trump victory would have lead to death and destruction, but not because of civil unrest due to his victory. You can just look at 2016 where there weren't even lawsuits filed to challenge Trumps victory, because democrats believe in the peaceful transfer of power, no matter how questionable the victory, like in 2000.

What would have continued is with Trump at the helm, and steering the DOJ to ignore civil rights violations, that civil rights protests would have continued.

Because the TrumpyCult is full of crazy fucks?
Like theses guys?

Gun violence in this country would drop 90% if Democrats quit shooting people.
Shootings would drop 99% if we made everyone register their guns and tracked all sales.

Well let's say your daughter was the one that got killed. Would you want to know the name of the officer.
How about you image that your George Floyd's Mother.
Or the family of Ronald Greene.

His family says they were told he died in a car wreck.
Or the family of David Dorn or any of the cops your side murdered. Seems you just got thrown off your high horse.
Did you mourn the officers shot by Dave Koresh?
