Well the corner stone of industry is oil. everything from cosmetics, medicine, refrigeration, plastics to fuel comes from oil. when there's a higher demand for oil than what is produced, it cost more, the same in reverse, more supply of oil, the lower the cost to purchase it. Trump was exporting oil for the first time in decades and we were making money.

Biden cut off the US oil supply, cancelled permits, inflation went through the roof, doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that, when SHTF in the Middle East and oil production is either threaten or reduced, cost of oil goes up, when the cost goes up, everything that requires oil, that cost also goes up.

Oil futures is also a factor, relationships between the oil producing countries and non-producing countries is a factor.

When Biden cut off our oil and cost skyrocketed, he asked the Saudi's to lower the cost of their oil, they snubbed him, raised prices even, that's why Bidden tapped our oil reserves.

Oil is everything, everything depends on oil. its why the Western World is so involved in the Middle East

Biden did not cut off oil and he did not ask the Saudi's to lower the cost of their oil.

We are producing more oil now than any time in our history. Well more than was produced under Trump.

Biden asked Saudi to go back to 2019 production levels, they slashed their production in 2020 after Trump threatened to stop their military support if they did not. And yes, they told Biden to fuck off, and why would they not, they benefit from the price of oil being high.

Also Biden restricted domestic oil and gas production significantly and shut down the Keystone Pipeline which would have allowed North America to refine significantly more oil. The majority of the oil contracts in Iraq went to China and China has been buying significant amounts of other oil including from US oil reserves which Biden sold them. US demand is roughly 20 million barrels per day, we are refining roughly 17 million barrels per day.

In short, Biden promised to torpedo US energy production if elected and he has kept that promise.
