Sure, a socialist is one who thinks all the resources of society, such as land, natural resources, factories, and businesses, are owned by the community, and not by private individuals.

The social welfare states are collapsing…especially their national healthcare systems…they cant afford them anymore, even with the United States providing for the defense of Europe and Japan…….they are running out of money, they cant keep medical professionals, and the rationing of services is getting worse and worse……

Nothing the government does is ever going to be good…….

The below link took me back to my studies in both sociology/philosophy classes & a psych class. If one of my fellow board members is wondering WHY folks that harbor the religion of socialism seem to be off of kilter, weird/spaced out or in another dimension you will no longer be wondering about it after viewing the below link. It's an hour & eleven minutes long but ole TIK takes his time so he is E-A-S-Y to follow. I learned from this vid so I figure my hour & 11 minutes was well spent!

Socialists I believe are incapable of logic, reason, critical thinking and are woefully undereducated on history, philosophy, economics and math. Otherwise they would understand why socialism will never be as successful as a free people in a free market capitalist system. . .

They see socialism as the road to their achieving total power.

Marxism was an attempt to embrace the morality of the Bible while divorcing the subject of God.

The result has been an ideology that has resulted in the most horrific slaughter of humanity last century than any other ideology in human history, including fascism. It is not even close.

There is one exception, Marxism teaches that coveting is righteous and not a sin. That is the universal appeal.

In fact, the folks in Venezuela, for example, are eating out of trash cans after going Marxist, but if you ask any of them I bet they still love Marxism. It's just the idea that government should take money from the rich folk and give it to them, even though that never really happens.

Marxism, in its concept of philosophy must become reality, has its ultimate goal to change the culture, values, mindset of the people by destroying their history, monuments, religion, values, family loyalties and confiscation of property until the government completely controls the message all are allowed to receive, controls thought, speech, beliefs, and lifestyle of all the people. That requires a ruthless and all powerful totalitarian government
Then theoretically, the government dissolves and the people share everything with each according to his/her ability providing for each according to his/her needs. A utopian world in which there is peace and harmony.

But Marxist philosophy does not take into account human nature. And it's pure theory anyway because no government utilizing Marxist tactics--you know, the same tactics the Democrat Party is now utilizing as much as they dare and are expanding on that--once it obtains absolute power has ever been willing to give it up.

And the government using Marxist tactics to achieve absolute power I think probably often has no other ultimate goal than achieving that absolute power. They may lull the gullible into believing they are altruistic and noble in purpose while they work to achieve that power, but the reality pretty much never works out like that.

The separation of powers and limitations on government written into the Constitution was intended to prevent government from overstepping its authority. That those lines are increasingly blurred and the Democrats want to do away with many of those protections is also telling. (And yes, the GOP is not blameless in that regard, but their goal is not totalitarian government. even when they wrongly overstep their intended authority.)

Why is it that the Left has zero problem spending any amount of money on things like immigration or climate change, but the second you mention health care for Americans they insist on cutting the budget because too much money is being spent on it?

Because of Edward Kennedy allowing those who show up in emergency rooms, not to pay, then the hospitals either have to charge the paying customers extra to cover the costs, or go bankrupt. DC general was a prime example where non paying blacks who were scum of the Earth, showed up with bullet holes, got stitched up for free, then the customers realizing how dangerous the area was, stopped show up for their medical. DC general closed. Prince George's country had to pick up the slack, and 10 years later had to get a bailout from the Maryland tax payers, for all the free medical that non paying blacks and illegals used.

If you want medical, get a fucking job, you know in Joe Bribem's roaring economy.

Absolutely

No Marxist leader is in love with the ideology other than using certain aspects of it to their advantage.

Hitler, being a National Socialist, is a prime example. He allowed private business instead of the state taking them over, because they were the experts after all. It was a superior model to Stalin taking over private industry who knew nothing about it. Hitler, however, knew that all that mattered was controlling them outwardly, which he did.

In fact, the Hitler private industry model that the state controls is the model many states like China use today.
