In full disclosure, the RCMP and their surrogates in Ontario have been stabbing American businesses in the back for decades anyways, so he would be wise to reconsider NAFTA and how some countries are violating it. This story is awful. I heard about it a month or two ago. The thing is though, Trump had no say in it. It was the insurance company who pulled out their lawyers and fucked this guy over. The insurance company was the actual group that was dictating the rules of the contest and they had their people there on site with tape measures. The contest was run entirely by the insurance company that was covering the "bet".

What happened was the guy made the hole in one from the spot where the tee was set up, but the shady insurance company broke out ther tape measures after he made the hole in one and showed that the hole wasnt far enough away from the tee. A lot of people think they knew it wasnt the right distance before the guy took his swing (how could they not know?), and they basically set up a contest that could not be won, guaranteeing the insurance company an easy pay day at the Golf courses expense. As i recall, the golf course stepped in when the insurance company refused to pay and they gave the guy some money (like $67,000 or something), even though it wasnt their fault and not their responsibility to pay for it.

The golf course (or i guess Trump, since thats who you were blaming for this) was the actual good guy in this story.
