But it's not just about jobs.

Education also teaches such skills as reasoning and critical thinking. It's more difficult to be swindled when you are able to look at multiple sides of the same issue. Why do you think Trump has problems with the educated?

What I've been seeing, rather than placing value on education, is a push to get low income people degrees that will supposedly get them good jobs; it's all about marketability, welfare to work programs. And the unnecessary strings connected with educational funds are making for stupid scenarios in our schools like the Pre-K class not being able to decorate for Christmas, while K-8 in the same building, in the same hallway, can.

The liberal utopias are definitely an issue. More money hasn't helped, so it's not a funding issue.
