I think Greenfeld's description of Trump's campaign in 16 and his "agenda" was pretty accurate "From the very beginning of his campaign five years ago …." Some of Trump's actual policies may actually be good, like on H1B1 visas, and while trade wars were a disaster for farmers without the welfare, it would have been good to force US companies to find supply chains not involving China. And illegal immigration isn't really popular outside an extreme left. I could go on for pages of what I think Trump's fucked up without mentioning covid, but that's not really the point.

The point is that Trump's campaign was never built for that. People shouldn't be surprised at the RAGE. The lack of courtesy. His campaign is to destroy the establishment at any cost.
