Once you find a comfortable carry rig, it just becomes like everything else in the morning: Belt, wallet, glasses, keys, cigarette lighter, cigarettes, smart phone, flashlight, OC spray, and pocket change. Most of the time, I even forget that I'm wearing a G19 and 46 rounds on 9mm until the afternoon, when all that extra weight on my old ass starts getting a little bit heavy.

I gotta quit carrying so much pocket change.

Add suspenders. They're the new rucksack straps for us older folks.

I second this and it is because of the four trees that have come down in my yard during thunderstorms that have hit my area within the past five years. In other words, the usage of a gun or any other kind of weapon isn't the only thing to wonder or be worried about.

P.S. One tree could've ended up on my house, but thankfully its falling was done in the right direction and only just covered my entire backyard.
