Willing to hire a "burglar" to stop burglaries?

In a sense, what is implied in the thread's title is PRECISELY what right wingers on here are proposing. They all seem to agree that scamming the system (albeit, legally) in avoiding your tax responsibility is really not how this country can flourish economically......HOWEVER, they are willing to hire the "burglar" hoping that he can put an end to the burglaries.....

Sounds plausible????

NO !!!! The proposed taxation policies by Trump CLEARLY show that he not only would perpetuate the crooked take a look at his proposals and you too will see the old "trickle-down" bullshit that has been debunked since Ronnie Reagan's administration.

Still don't know how to use quote marks in your native language, huh?

The idea it's "scamming the system" to follow the tax code and write off your losses is retarded.

And that it's stealing for government to not take your money is the Marxist that you are. All money is the people's money, comrade. For government to not take it is giving you money

No, because you think anyone said he did anything illegal. The fact that you can't understand, STILL, that our system is broken and THAT is the issue is amazing.

It's only wrong if he did something illegal. Do YOU intentionally not take available deductions?

And progressives solutions to "fixing" the tax code is to make it more complicated, and concentrate the responsibility of paying for government on less people.

LOL. "Something is only wrong if it's illegal". Simple concepts for simple people.

Again, do you willfully and purposefully ignore available deductions when you do your own taxes?

Of course not. Does that make the system less broken?

Then support a flat tax. nice and simple.

Lol, like I said...simple ideas for simple people.

Actually Casino's regularly hire cheaters, Tech companies hire reformed hackers, and the FBI took a check kiter and made him work for them (they made a movie out of it).

Excellent.....so you DO agree that the best way to stop tax scams we need to hire, Trump, the paragon of tax scammers...

Writing off losses against future income isn't a scam.
Neither was Hillary writing off Slick Willie's used underwear when it was donated.

It's proof of a broken tax system. Trump is living proof of that.

You've always been able to write off losses, nothing broken about that.

When a man who is worth billions is able to not pay any income taxes for years, there is something wrong with the system.

I'll put 1/2 my IQ up against yours any day of the week, oxygen thief.

We don't tax net worth, we tax income.
Writing off old losses against current income is not a loophole. Nothing wrong with it.

The objective of the thread was NOT whether Trump did something illegal (all you right wingers don't seem to mind getting screwed by your own hero)....the objective was IF Trump would be the best "burglar" to fix the screwed up system.....
(and, YES, look at his proposal on his website and tell us HOW that would fix the fact that Trump and his ilk get away with paying ZERO to this country's treasury)

Carrying forward losses is not getting away with anything.

Actually, writing off losses didn't start until the mid '50s. And the write-off has been expanded and expanded and expanded and expanded ever since.

Speaking of "derps"....How do you realize ONE billion in losses and declare bankruptcy 3 or 4 times and STILL call yourself the best businessman that ever walked the planet???

If you own a flower shop and an auto repair shop, and your flower shop loses money, you don't get to deduct the flower shop losses from your auto repair shop income.

However, the real estate lobby got themselves a plush deal. If you lose money on your real estate, you CAN deduct that from all the income from any other businesses you have.

Like I said: Unlevel playing field, folks.

If he's worth a couple of billion, he does have some room to brag.

actually, ex-burglars are hired by large companies to enhance their security. But they only hire the good ones.
