America would still be great if we had had recent leaders like B. Knight! Great post, and thanks! I might be a little bit partisan tho', because my brother-in-law, an ex-IU professor, used to have breakfast with Bobby on a regular basis.

I like Mr. Knight. I don't know that his style has a place in college basketball anymore though. It is more about managing the egos of one-and-dones now than molding boys into young men. As hard as he was on players, they had a lot of love and respect for him. The handful of players that didn't like him (Neil Reed, Larry Bird, Jason Collier, etc) transferred out pretty fast. We have had season tickets for the last 40 years so I have managed to catch a lot of those moments.
