Wonder what all those Doctors think of DeBlasio wanting to spread their wealth??

Its on another thread. If I were someone with money I'd change cities and States ASAP.

i just cant wait to sit in a doctors office with 30 other infected people waiting for my free visit/treatment. and even for a full 2 or 3 hours !!!

Then make an appointment you dolt! Wait times are for people who walk in off the street and ask to be seen.

I’d worry about Appalachia.

An area that covers about a dozen red states.

Where infant mortality is rising and life expectancy is falling.

Instead of worrying about their own people,

Republicans are always trying to play gotcha.

Hmmmm-
Reinoso says she was warned by a specialist to visit the ER if her serious eye infection worsened. So, at 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 24, 2007, Reinoso checked into Credit Valley, according to a statement of claim she filed in Ontario Superior Court.

According to the claim, Reinoso complained of a fever and swollen right eye, looked pale and felt on the verge of fainting. A triage nurse assessed her as a level 2. Despite a recommended wait time of 15 minutes, hospital records filed in court show she waited 4.5 hours to be seen by a doctor.

In its statement of defence, the hospital denies the allegations and states that “at all material times it provided reasonable hospital and nursing care to (Reinoso) in accordance with accepted hospital and nursing standards.” The hospital denies “there was any breach of duty, want of care or negligence on its part or … its employees” and asks for the lawsuit to be dismissed with costs.

Here in the US, your wait for surgery is usually 3 weeks or less. If an emergency, within 24 hours or less.
Waits here in Florida to see a specialist, if not an emergency is usually within 2 weeks. If an emergency, they work you in, usually within 24 hours. To see a general physician, usually within just a few days. Urgent care centers abound where you can be seen, some 24/7, within an hour wait of walking in.

The Socialists have determined to run both NY and CA into the dirt.

Much as I like living in Westchester, it's time to sell and move.

and regarding what Wilhem has proposed, do these buttheads really expect to walk into an ER/Hospital/Private Practice and expect to be waited on within 30 minutes, and very little paper work to fill out, and maybe even expect the visit to be free? In New York?

It's what we do every day in Canada. I walk into emergency, I see the triage nurse, she takes my OHIP card, and I'm seen within minutes. I do no paperwork, I pay no fee.
