You wake up with complete dictatorial powers in USA - what do you do?

Restore the Constitution (give power back to the people) and keep on rollin'. :)

that's nice… whose version of the constitution? yours or what it really is?

His.

The Welfare/Warfare State Constitution Reads:

Whatever the fuck the government wants to do , whenever it wants to do it, however it wants to do it , is copacetic.

The Supreme Court is now a cabinet level agency.

Franklin Del-Anus Roosevelt
Prime Minister

What to do?

Immediately find the nearest message board and do anonymous rants to other cranks and crackpots, who will agree with you, and talk about manning the barricades, at least until dinnertime.

No, what you meant to say is

Immediately use your food stamp allowance to buy recreational marihuana then find the nearest message board and do anonymous rants to other cranks and crackpots who agree with you that everything is honky dory , but if it isn't, it is not your job or theirs to lift a finger to help.

1. Abolish the Department of Homeland Security which was created by our last dictator.

2. Raise the Social Security and Medicare eligibility ages to 70, indexed to 9 percent of the population going forward.

3. Ban all tax expenditures, period.

4. With the huge surplus created by 2 and 3, begin paying down the national debt and lower tax rates across the board.

5. Abolish ObamaCare, abolish employer-sponsored health insurance. Deregulate health insurance so anyone can call any health insurance company in the country and buy their own insurance with the options they want; the same way they buy their auto, life, and home insurance.

6. Reform our education system so our children are being educated for the jobs of tomorrow instead of yesterday's jobs.

7. Make it easier for educated immigrants to come and work here, and if they wish, to stay.

8. Place a moratorium on the death penalty until our broken justice system is repaired.

9. Stop registering guns and start registering gun buyers. If you pass a criminal and psychological background check, you are approved to buy whatever and as many guns as you wish without the government knowing what property you own.

If Auto insurance wasn't MANDATORY, no one would buy it.

The people you have to be afraid of are those who practice voter suppression and try to pass legislation making minorities second place citizens. The same people who outright spit on the poor.

Do we know anyone like that?

If Auto insurance wasn't MANDATORY, no one would buy it.

Bullshit. You have ZERO proof to back up that statement. Anyone that wanted to protect their assets sure as shit would buy insurance as would anyone that wanted to protect themselves from all the uninsured drivers out there. And unless you have the scratch to buy a new car after a bad accident, you'd also buy insurance for that eventuality. My but you're full of shit.

And by the way...even with a state mandate to buy auto insurance, far from everyone does. An estimated 25% of California drivers have no insurance. So much for your rules making everything come up roses.

Lastly, auto insurance is not "MANDATORY" in any state. You can buy a car without insurance. You can use that car without insurance. The law only applies to using a vehicle on public roads.

Remove all case law surrounding the constitution. Select experts to reword the parts that both liberals and conservatives abuse such as the commerce clause. Identify States who have laws that go against the people via the constitution, such as second amendment laws upheld by the courts. Remove them.

Fire all of congress, disband every agency that is not within the enumerated powers of the constitution...so most of them. Add to the constitution the conditions of elections involve at least a 65% turn out of the voting public, or the election is scratched, the candidates can not run a second time and it is a do over.

Remove the federal reserves charter and the constitutional amendment that aloud its existence. Change that to make it completely clear, without any ability to change it, that free banking is here to stay (real free banking, not the BS we called free banking from the 1800s) and let the population decide on what is currency, money and how it is stored.

Then resign. Thats a good start, i think.

Pretty close to what I'd do. I'd also reword the 'general welfare' clause to reinforce its original intention...which hasn't a damn thing to do with "welfare". I'd also repeal the 16th and 17th amendments. Not sure about your '65%' rule though.

Edit: And if I were to add an amendment, it was say something along these lines: No law shall give any government the ability to incarcerate, fine or otherwise punish an adult citizen that has not done something to infringe on the rights of another citizen. Stated differently, if you haven't hurt another nor taken what doesn't belong to you, you shouldn't face ANY criminal charge. Enough of this trying to engineer society bullshit. It causes more harm than good and ends up criminalizing consensual activity between adults.

Someone may have already said this but I would ELIMINATE daylight savings time without any due process and I would find the person responsible for it in the first place and give him a year of hard labor.

so you are saying no one in NH has auto insurance?

would you require insurance on other rights like free speech, and voting?

1.) Eliminate the first 13 words in the 2nd amendment.
(won't change its meaning or effect, but it will give the liberals fewer excuses to hide behind)

2.) Insert the word "explicitly" before the word "delegated" in the 10th amendment.
(won't change its meaning or effect, but it will give the liberals fewer excuses to hide behind)

3.) Replace the words "General Welfare" With "Programs that help all Americans equally" in Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. (won't change its meaning or effect, but it will give the liberals fewer excuses to hide behind)

4.) Insert another amendment in the Constitution, whose spirit is that court decisions cannot supersede the text of the Constitution.
(won't change its meaning or effect, but it will give the liberals fewer excuses to hide behind)

5.) Repeal all automatic tax withholding (Income tax, FICA etc.) from people's paychecks. People must send in each payment themselves.

6.) Mandate that Presidential and Congressional elections are to be held one business day after Income Tax Day (which is usually April 15).

7.) Add another amendment to the Constitution, stating that all laws passed in the U.S. (Federal, state, local) must have a two-year expiration date, and that any renewals must be done individually and explicitly. One exception: If a law has a section repealing another law, that repeal section has no expiration date.
(Once a legislature passes a whole lot of laws, this will keep them so busy passing renewals that they will only be able to add really important ones; and when they want to pass new ones, they'll have to let others expire. So they'll have to figure out which ones aren't important enough to renew, and let them go.)

8.) Finally, ban all dictatorial powers including my own.

You're correct, most folks in NH do indeed have car insurance. They would be silly not to as they would otherwise be responsible for paying out of pocket. NH is a great state. They also don't have any adult seat belt laws there. I especially like their motto "Live Free or Die"

EXCELLENT point!

Even better, despite the fact that NH does not require minimum auto insurance coverage, they happen to pay among the lowest rates in the country (5th lowest in 2010).

Feel foolish rdean???
