So what about that 50% energy, and 30% grain supply?
As far as Europe goes? Grain is a small matter. Germany is a net exporter on grains.

That leaves Oil and Natural Gas. And there, Europe has a lot of options.
Boris Johnson looks to increase North Sea oil and gas production
Prime minister prepares new UK energy strategy, seeking self-sufficiency following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
North Sea Oil and Gas is of course available. They can probably meet half of the shortfall before the summer is over. That leaves half of the shortfall to manage through many other alternative energy sources.
Russia is not nearly as vital as you imagine. They were an easy source. But the source can be shifted. And they don’t need one source to take up the slack. They can get it from many others.
Venezuela may even see an economic boost in the short term.
All the ships carrying Russian oil will simply sail to other ports and get the oil there. Ships carrying LNG away from Russia will instead carry it to Europe.
The ships and crews don’t care where they go so long as they get fed and paid.
Russia on the other hand is going to detest it. As has been shown already.
Every day Russia loses influence. Access to Kaliningrad will be restricted. People there will feel the pinch of the Sanctions. And access to the Baltic Sea will be restricted. With Sweden and Finland looking to join NATO Putin adds to his list of enemies while gaining No allies.
Putin has saved NATO from the dustbin of obsolescence. The grain they did export will rot in warehouses. Or be sold for Cents on the dollar to be transshipped through a third party country for sale.
You know this to be true. You know it is true because you are absolutely adamant that the World needs Russia. Russia is already falling towards Second World Status. Soon they will be desperately clinging to that and looking at third world status.
Putin knows it to be true too. That is why he is trotting out the propagandists to try and weaken the resolve of the West. He can’t believe it is happening. And he is out of options on saving the Russian Economy.
