The Democrat outpaced President-elect Donald Trump by almost 2.9 million votes, with 65,844,954 (48.2%) to his 62,979,879 (46.1%), according to revised and certified final election results from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Except California Trump was ahead of Hillary by over 1 million votes so hate to break it to you but California does not elect people out side the State.

Gerrymandering is still in play on the House elections, and State legislatures.... in these two places, Republicans have had less voters than Democrats voting, for the past 30 years... the 'people's vote' overall picked Democratic candidates over Republican candidates, but when divided in to the specific gerrymandered districts, the Dems end up losing.... from what I heard on the news last night.

yet, Republicans rule the House and most State Legislatures.

In other words...

Do not underestimate, the power of the Darkside! :p

Who the hell cares what 5 counties in California did? Waters and Pelosi win with 50%+1 or the 99% they’ll get.

We wouldn't even be discussing the Republicans losing the House if so many incumbents didn't decide to retire.

If the Republicans do lose the House the stupid Moon Bats will draw the conclusion that the whole country is turning Communists and their Communists revolution is working. However, the real reason will be that about 30 well known Republicans decided to retire.

So... in those districts where Republicans retired, no other Republican stepped up to run for the seat?

Alert for all dems - don’t forget to vote on Wednesday!

Incumbents usually win. It works the same in Democrat districts as it does in Republican districts.

If the idiot Moon Bats take the House then the idiot Moon Bats will make the same flawed assumptions like they did after Moore lost in Alabama. Alabama did not turn Communists over night by electing a filthy ass Democrat to the Senate. There were other non ideological factors.

With so many incumbent Republicans retiring that will be a disadvantage. Maybe enough to turn the House over to the assholes. However, it will be nothing compared to the 60 seats that Obama lost in 2010 or the 1,000 national eats that he lost during his administration.

The country is not turning Communists although the Moon Bats will claim that their Communists revolution is working if they get the House.

States with smaller populations are still over-represented in the Senate.

That doesn't really much. There are many Republican Congressmen representing districts that Hillary won who were simultaneously reelected. Now, the voters may very well take it out on them this time. I guess we'll see.
