Eduardo Gonzalez, 19-year-old male of Fort Worth, is charged with five counts of Intoxication Manslaughter with Vehicle and Driving While Intoxicated.

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 12:30 a.m. in the 4800 block of South Freeway near the Seminary Drive exit.

South Division officers, Fort Worth FD, and MedStar EMS responded to an accident call involving two vehicles. The investigation revealed that a black vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and rear ended a sedan at the Seminary Drive exit ramp causing the sedan to catch on fire.

There were five occupants inside the sedan who did not survive. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Officer will release the identity of the deceased once next-of-kin has been notified.

The driver of the black vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital for medical treatment and then to jail.

Did Eduardo have a driver's license and insurance? Was he a US citizen?

This is the kind of information that should be included in news stories when hispanics are involved.

Unfortunately, drunk driving is a cultural norm in the hispanic community.

Sadly the most he can get is 20 years on each count, and the judge can possibly run each sentence consecutively. That may or may not happen.

In my extended AO the hispanic barrios are OK for the most part but they get popped for DUI on a regular basis when they venture outside of them on a Friday/Saturday night.

If Senor Gonzalez had been in Mexico, this would not have happened. No matter how many shots of tequila Eduardo had drank, riding a burro afterwards, as is the way transportation is done in Mexico, would not have caused these kinds of injuries and deaths.

This is why President Trump's "Stay in Mexico" plan was such a life save.

Your extended AO.

Grow up kid.

Light treatment for DWI in Texas is a time honored tradition.

Let me assure you that the residents of Texas did not support the light sentence Couch received

This was one assole in black robes who handed out a light sentence

Scum that kill people in their cars while drunk should get life behind bars.
