1943 Underwood M1 Carbine

I didn't realize how pricey M1 carbines have become. We used to keep one clipped to the hayrack on the boat to shoot sharks and sea lions.

The sharks were hard to get, but the seals and sea lions would always pop up behind the boat and look right at you after they stole a fish. You could always count on getting one shot if you were ready for it... 🙂
 
Yup. It hasn't been touched too hard. I figure it was a European Constabulary weapon.
The ETO refurbs were very minimal for the most part. Pretty much a new rear sight and replacement of worn parts if needed. Done and done.

I believe that is what Midway was selling last year.
 
Nice. I still have a sling and oiler around, a grenade launcher in pouch too. Need a Carbine to go along with it.
