The reason why increased money for expanding voting by mail is in this bill is to give the states the financial resources they need to start now to expand voting by mail in their states, and to get the infrastructure in place to increase access to voting for the vulnerable populations, and ensure the safety of election staff. This isn't something you can start in October and have in place on election day.

The states also need money to set up testing centres and hire contact tracers. To ensure that ALL essential workers have PPE's, not just the medical staff, but the police, fire, and EMS workers. Any state or municipal workers who are in contact with the public on a daily basis.

They're reporting that they're worse off than before, and the financial studies confirm that working people continue to lose ground. The gap between rich and poor is widening under Trump, and its widening at a much faster rate under Trump than under Obama.

It realy does no good to buy into the conspiracy theory that China "attacked us" with this virus. Not only is this highly likely to be proven to be a false narrative, it serves absolutely no useful purpose, other than promote the interests of Russian propagandists who are really pushing this theory very hard, to further disrupt the American economy during this crisis.

After the collapse, the industry I am in took a HUGE hit. By 2015 over 40% of U.S. printing companies went out of business or were bought up.
We went from 43 employees to 12 by 2014.

When you talked about how much smaller your business is now, you failed to mention that your business is one that is being seriously affected by ecommerce, and home printing. You tried to make it appear that your business was declining because of government policies. You're a horse and buggy business in a Model T economy.

Any government assistance to such types of businesses is just throwing good money after bad. And this is why money should not be going to businesses at this time. What passes for Trump's economic policy has been to prop up the horse and buggy industries, while ignoring the 21st Century technologies and areas of growth. Obviously some kinds of printing has declined tremendously, forms printing is a good example. Hospitals etc. used to use cases of forms a day, now very little. Another is publishing. (Books/Magazines) Obviously in massive decline as ereaders have taken over that market.
But we are not a publisher, and forms printing we used to do is indeed gone, but we invested in large format and 4 color printing years ago which has significantly risen - NOT declined.
Direct mail is the most effective means of advertising that exists. The hit rates are multiples that of radio/tv and certainly the abysmal hit rates of internet advertising. These markets have risen, not declined.
What happened in 2008/2009 created a temporary decline in advertising dollars. Companies simply stopped spending money. Print advertsing came back. So printing is not a "dying" industry. Far from it. It has changed, like any industry some things die out due to technology, while others rise.
