Huckabee was pretty impressive. I never especially liked him and thought he was too "populist" but he sounded just the right notes. I could see him doing well.

Gotta agree with you, to a point. but I have somewhat liked Huckabee, to a certain extent. He was the number two in the Super Tuesday contest in 2008. He can speak well and has an interesting history.

Only, the McCainiacs attacked him mercilessly in 2008 as being a "socialist". Could be interesting to see if he really runs or not, or keeps his threat to bolt from the party, a threat he spoke just about 7 weeks ago.
