$3.35 for gas today! God Bless Biden and Gov Cooper.

That was the claim, but now it is Biden bringing it down. They want no blame but all the credit. Real dishonest.
You literally would rather blame Biden and thank Putin than give Biden any credit. How are you even American?

Gas prices increase: It's all Biden's fault!
Gas prices decrease: Biden doesn't control gas prices!

Gawd, this place

Regardless, like quarterbacks, Presidents are given too much credit and too much blame.
But their policies can have an impact either way.

The begging pleas for more output from Biden to OPEC and Venezuela prove otherwise.
No matter how much oil we produce it’s the wrong grade for our refineries. We will be importing oil until we go fully green. You understand that right?

January 2020 - North Carolina - $2.38
August 2022 - $3.35

Thanks Joe!!
Ha ha. Pick a 2019 price precovid. Just slightly up when you compound any reasonable growth rate. You do know what that means right?

Western NC gas price today was $3.35. Sometimes you just have to have faith in leadership. Reduction of gas taxes, strategic reserves, and pro energy leadership by Biden are all making an impact. 8/31 is next release of US oil output for June but May reported 2 weeks ago was the second highest May output ever.

Yes....they made gas so expensive that people cancelled vacations and had to limit travel to to and from work ....... and the reduction in use, because of how expensive gas was, lowered the amount of gas being used by people...........and so the price has come down....but now, genius......school is back and people have to transport their kids to school every day............and biden's policies are still there..........

The irony is that most liberals will indeed celebrate Bidens "phenomenal success at reducing gas prices".

So, yes...they really are THAT stupid, that gullible and that out of touch.
It also doesn't help that they will celebrate ANY thing that promotes Socialism and it's move towards Communism.

Pretty sure btw that citygator is a hard core Communist.
They cannot do math.
If something sells for $2 but is raised to $4 with $2 off then they feel the latter has saved them money

The OP is celebrating that on average he is paying a dollar more a gallon than when Biden took office.

More is less in suspension of reality land. Right now some feel better that prices have lowered so that means prices are lower than ever and the good feeling increases!!!!

I never said anything about not importing at all. Not sure where you are getting your info on all oil we produce domestically not being compatible with our refineries. Exporting at high volumes with minimal restrictions gives US leverage in the global markets. Every President asks foreign oil companies to produce more. You don’t seem to understand the difference between making that request when gas is below $3.00 vs. when gas is hovering around $5.00.

Not my rules. If Biden is blamed for increases he’s the savior when it goes down. You got idiots on here complaining it’s not pandemic prices and blaming Biden. It’s insane.

That's not how it worked. Biden's idiotic energy policies made the price go up. Then the price cam back down a little because of the recession we're in. This economy is nowhere near as good as you think it is. People are having to work two jobs just to get by, and inflation is eating a big chunk out of their paychecks. And with the Biden recession, folks can't afford to drive as much as they usually did, therefore the price came down a little.

You can thank the oil and gas industry for the drop in the price of gasoline.
