$3.35 for gas today! God Bless Biden and Gov Cooper.

Is this a bait thread, or what????????????????????????? :auiqs.jpg:

Trump had the gas down to less than 2.00, Biden takes it up over 5.00 and when it comes down some
the left are kissing his feet. This has got to be damn funny CG.
Yep. Cost of gas is real important but human lives are more valuable. Trump's do or die day at the Capitol on January 6 so he could remain as president cost several policemen's lives and dozens more injured.

Western NC gas price today was $3.35. Sometimes you just have to have faith in leadership. Reduction of gas taxes, strategic reserves, and pro energy leadership by Biden are all making an impact. 8/31 is next release of US oil output for June but May reported 2 weeks ago was the second highest May output ever.

LOL. Buy any groceries lately?

All the more reason to be exporting at a maximum margin over importing. Leverage.
Youā€™re lost. Leverage for who? Exxon? Chevron? USA doesnā€™t produce, import or export anything. Companies do. We import the demand for heavy crude less sweet oil to go into our refineries that canā€™t be filled domestically. We only get lower prices when there is more of that. That comes from other places.

Human lives are valuable. How many lives were lost or maimed and livelihoods destroyed throughout 2020 as a result of ā€œpeaceful protests?ā€ Since you are so concerned about police officersā€™ lives, how many cops lost their lives or were hurt during those social justice protests? Where is the concern for those police officers.

Gasoline is an important part of Americansā€™ daily lives. Policies need to focus on influencing the price to be as low as possible and/or come up with a viable alternative.

That's not how it worked. Biden's idiotic energy policies made the price go up. Then the price cam back down a little because of the recession we're in. This economy is nowhere near as good as you think it is. People are having to work two jobs just to get by, and inflation is eating a big chunk out of their paychecks. And with the Biden recession, folks can't afford to drive as much as they usually did, therefore the price came down a little.

You can thank the oil and gas industry for the drop in the price of gasoline.
What do you know about oil policy? What kind of oil was gonna go through the pipeline xl, whose was it, and where was it going to end up? What kind of oil do we need for US refineries and where does it come from? How much domestic production is actually consumed domestically?

If you know those answers you know there is no Biden policy affecting gas prices.

Leverage for the US in the global markets and for negotiating output from OPEC and Venezuela. Based on your logic, the US should not be producing oil at all. Thatā€™s lost.

US doesnā€™t produce oil. Chevron and Exxon do for profit. They make profit by sending oil overseas. We produce 11.6M barrels a day and exported 8.6M. We used maybe a third and had no need for the rest so we exported it. Guess what? We imported nearly the sameā€¦why? We folding need the kind we had.

Punishing Americans into compliance and selling it as for theirā€health, safety, benefit and own goodā€ is a losing liberal ploy.

What you're forgetting is that these 'protestors' or what ever it is you want to call them, are private citizens and many of them had valid gripes and maybe some did killing. We weren't there so....Main point is they were private citizens. This is quite different than Trump, who broke the oath of office he took to serve and protect and obey the constitution. He did none of those things. He planned and incited a riot because he wanted to remain in power. How can so many republicans still cheer for him?

Honestly, I don't even look any more. I just fill it till it shuts off and pay the bill when it comes.

I mean, really, what are you gonna do?

And I'm putting 93 octane in mine, so it's probably still close to 5 Federal Reserve Notes a gallon.

/ā€”ā€”-/ Nancy Piglosi must be pissed at $3 gas.

/ā€”ā€”-/ Youā€™re bragging about 200% increase in gas and 700% increase in inflation? Thatā€™s what youā€™re running on? Fake bill will only raise inflation, dumbass.

And? By having domestic firms whether nation state or private enterprise producing at a level and with minimal regulations- we have leverage impacting our dependence on foreign oil.

Already has --- I went to Wegman's today and the thinner steaks were a pair for $53. Yes. I couldn't stand to look at the left side where the steaks were thicker.
Crab cakes, made up because all their crab meat (in MARYLAND???) is being shoplifted so they can't put it out anymore, too easy to put in a pocket or purse, sold for $32 for four. We bought a pack. They were excellent. But ---- wow. The inflation is now really revving up, I think.
