This is also nonsense.What the U.S. needs is a 'No' vote...indicating rejecting of all candidates.
The way U.S. politics works, if in the entire country one candidate gets 2 votes and the other candidate gets 1 vote, the first candidate claims a 66% to 33% majority and huge mandate.
Giving people a 'No' vote would really show how people felt.
The notion of a ‘no vote’ is just another manifestation of apathy, indifference, and lack of involvement.
Fixing what’s wrong with the political process isn’t going to be easy, getting involved at the very local level isn’t going to be easy; it means stop watching Netflix, and playing video games, and – yes – posting on message boards, and attending political events and activities and having real input as to who will run for elected office.
A third party won’t work, top-down ‘fixes’ won’t work, changing the mechanics of the voting process won’t work.
