A republic is a type of democracy you clown.

Its in the very defintions of the word

Do you pretend the founders did NOT know the definitions of the words?

I honestly think the reason TM gets so bitchy about Democracy VS Republic is because Democracy sounds more like Democrat and Republic sounds more like Republican.

No, I’m not joking.

I believe you're right............she's gonna freak when she sees the Constitution calls us a Republican form of government!!

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy ….”

She will still call it a Democracy as she does not care that she is wrong, only that she does not agree, based on.... who knows. I mean, it's only written in the constitution.

Yup. TM will not accept that many years ago she was predicted to happen. She can't deal with the fact that the prediction is people like her are the problem, not the solution.

You just admitted we are a democracy

That quote means if we migrate to the rule of mob as in a democracy, we are doomed. If you have it your way, we'll just be another Greece, Italy or France.

FF says we are a Republican form of government, not a democracy.
