92% of all American Marines who died during the past and current Afghanistan conflict occurred under the leadership of a "Nobel Peace Prize" recipient. Guess who? If you guessed Obama you are correct! :(
92% of Marine Casualties in Afghanistan War Occurred Under Obama
As U.S. Marines withdraw from Operation Enduring Freedom (the Afghanistan war), CNSNews.com's database on casualties shows that 418 Marines gave their lives in the conflict and that 92% of those casualties, 385 deaths, occurred since President Barack Obama took office in 2009.

On a side note ... I find it rather disgusting that it took America 12 years to "secure" a backward country against a bunch of cave-dwelling, turban-wearing, toothless farmers. Really?

The funny thing is that... the backward country is not secure and the amount of opiates exported has grown significantly.
The country has spent loads of dollars, sacrificed the lives of its sons, but gained nothing. Yeah, exept the Nobel Peace Prize... Evil joke.

As to the Nobel Prize for Peace, the President should return that for flipflopping on what won it for him in the first place, his stance on nuclear weapons disarmament.

Not only should he be giving it back, but the Nobel people look really stupid and sophmoric for how fast they jumped on the Obama bandwagon.

you guys did know that Alfred Nobel was...... "a chemist, engineer, and inventor. In 1894, Nobel purchased the Bofors iron and steel mill, which he made into a major armaments manufacturer. Nobel also invented ballistite. This invention was a precursor to many smokeless military explosives, especially the British smokeless powder cordite. As a consequence of his patent claims, Nobel was eventually involved in a patent infringement lawsuit over cordite. Nobel amassed a fortune during his lifetime, with most of his wealth from his 355 inventions, of which dynamite is the most famous.[7]"

ironic that!

Can't have peace until you kill all your opposition. ;)

And that's nigh impossible to destroy or even demoralizing your opposition when you are negotiating with the Taliban at their Embassy in Qatar.

Oh and that little thingy that happened earlier. :) Giving back your enemy 5 of their top leaders in a time of war was a big freaking whoopsies.

IMHO.
