A Nuclear War? Over Venezuela?

They are marching and dying in the streets because they want respect?

Are you really that stupid?
Hoologans ain´t opposition.
The pro-Maduro crowds are way larger anyway.
Starving people =/= hooligans
The opposition is upper class.
Dude you're all over the map.
First they were hooligans and now they're upper class.

Pick a fairy tale and stick to it.
"Valero said opposition leaders are meeting to plan a way forward — one that includes outreach to the poor, who have largely remained on the sidelines as the middle and upper classes demonstrate against Maduro. The poor have less access to social media and the Internet, which have been driving the protests. He said coordination with the United States, Europe and other Latin American nations against Maduro will also continue."

I read that over 2 million of the poor have moved next door to ... Columbia, is it?

America has no business interfering in the internal politics of Venezuela.

If the people there want regime change bad enough.

Then it's up to them to make it happen. ....

Jeez...when you say it like that - it seems SO SIMPLE and makes SO MUCH SENSE.

I honestly cannot understand why people cannot grasp the concept of leaving other countries alone to their own elections/regime changes.
And if only our enemies, like Russia and China felt the same way, we'd be perfectly right in saying that.

The same people who say "Venezuela is none of our business" cheered when Bill Clinton bombed freaking Yugoslavia. There is no pleasing the angry incoherent left during a republican administration.

Less than 2 million I guess. And they are facing xenophobia and exploitation. 40 % of the people in Cucuta live in poverty, by the way.

Putin ain't about to trade nukes with us for Maduro. Sure, he enjoys ratfucking the US and has lent the Venzies a load of rubles to prop up their communist fools. But he and Trump cleared the air the other day about each other's intentions there. We pay operators like Delta, SEAL, and SFG to take care of jobs like this....fast in, fast out with Maduro's head in a basket....end of story.

The United States has a terrible reputation with the people of Central and South America after decades of meddling in their internal political affairs, backing military coups, and installing brutal puppet dictators loyal to the U.S. government. ...

As usual, I agree 100% with Dr. Ron Paul on U.S. foreign policy.

Outside of MAJOR genocide...what goes on in Venezuela is NONE of America's business.

ok

fine

I agree....

but when russia has military bases in venezuela and then starts to spread its influence throughout south America.....

do we really want kgb commies pissing on the monroe doctrine?

and what about trump.

kennedy told the russians to get out of cuba and they did.

trump told the russians to get out of venezuela and the russians just laughed and reminded trump of those pee tapes.....

Sounds like you're on the same page with Omar....what a coincidence!

They don´t want regime change. They want their country to be respected.
Oh, okay. And after we respect the hell out of them they’ll figure out alternatives to things like food, toilet paper, and whatnot and then ask the regime to ramp up production of said substitutes. Got it. Thanks.

This is what gun control will get you! It’s why the founding fathers sought to preserve the only remaining solution to totalitarianism.

When people rise up and change a government themselves, the outcome is usually much better then when a foreign power steps in and tries to do it for them.

You would think American citizens should have learned this simple lesson after the fiascos of Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, etc. ...

And yet Russia is a huge supporter of Donald Trump and in Russia they aren’t allowed to own guns. Why is that?

Did it work in Iran? Has it worked in Venezuela?

So why are Republicans rising up to try to replace the US government with an authoritarian regime?

The Democrats shouldn't be pointing fingers at anyone, after the disaster they created in Libya. ...

In other words when "some people do something" we should just brush it off and say no problem like your hero Omar, eh? Gotten around to condemning your jihadist brothers or are you waiting for some event to come out of the closet and shoot up a nightclub?
