The thread is simple, politics are not. However, Political Science joined with US History is an interesting and complex issue. To claim the far left as supporting Socialism or Marxism is absurd. That millions of moderates believe anyone else is an extremist is absurd. One can be fiscally moderate and socially progressive; or fiscally conservative and socially progressive. As I've stated, politics are not simple.
