A short history of slavery

While he didnt like slavery, Lincoln wasnt an abolitionist.
He even said abolitionists were a threat to the Union.
Lincoln would have probably been ok if whitey went around and killed every black person in the Country. As long as his economy and power stayed the same, anyway.
But he sided with the abolitionists. In the minds of those in the South, that was enough.

The irony is black lives really did matter when they were slaves. Not so much now.
True that!

The South wanted slaves to be counted as population, even though they were treated like cattle. That is because the higher the population, the more Congressmen the South got in Congress to vote. So the Republicans countered by saying that Blacks should only be counted 3/5 a person, so as to limit the power of the democrats in Congress who supported slavery.

But kids in schools today are taught that Republicans were really devaluing blacks instead when they were only trying to devalue the Congressional power of the slave states in Congress.

Lincoln told them he supported a constitutional amendment that would legalize slavery forever. If they could have had slavery legal forever, why did they fire on fort sumter? Why were they still seceding?
Lincoln also liberated them

More importantly, they were property. Do you think their owners would allow their murders on the scale of inner-cities today, need I mention Chicago, Baltimore etc.?

Black lives mattered then.

Kids in schools today are taught that there were no Democrats or Republicans when the Constitution was written

Lincoln’s first priority was to preserve the union
He had argued abolitionist positions for decades

IDK its debatable.
His big thing he wanted done was "gradualism" something abolitionists opposed.
The South was going to secede anyways. It was already in the works. Them losing the executive branch was just the final nail in the coffin. The North has always been statists. The southerners didnt like that shit. Hek, I believe the northern states were wanting to secede under Jefferson.
The culture and economic war is still alive and well, but with no threat of secession considering the federal government holds way to much power. Much to the pleasure of the statists.
IDK man, Im just saying, it was going to happen whether the tyrant lincoln won or not.

Emancipation Proclamation and 13th Amendment
Well at that point, the Southern States had rejected his slave plan and so all that was left to do was extinguish slavery once and for all because it has caused the rift.

Emancipation Proclamation and 13th Amendment
The EP didnt free one slave. It was political theater for England.
Amendments to the Constitution are accomplished by states and congress. The president has nothing to do with it.
Maybe next you can claim he helped dig underground tunnels too

Are they stopping thugs from killing each other? It is indeed a hollow mantra.

Again you fail to understand what the protests are about

Black thugs kill each other….they go to jail
Police kill unnecessarily and nothing happens

You ARE a Meathead
