Spot on. I don't get why you like Hillary over Bernie.I don't think capitalism itself is bad. I just think the American version has become completely unstable. If it were better regulated, it could succeed.America's system of capitalism is going to collapse in the coming decades unless major reforms are made. You know...we spend a lot of time pointing out the catastrophic failures of leftist ideology across the globe. Horrible failures of socialist ideals....like Venezuela. Cuba. USSR. North Korea. Many many more. They respond by naming the Scandinavian nations of Europe (who are mostly all white, strict borders, strict immigration, and have almost no military due to the USA offering protection).
But...how about a twist? Instead of showing libs where socialism has failed miserably (almost everywhere it's been tried)....how about liberals show us places where capitalism has failed!!???
The more capitalist a nation becomes....the stronger and wealthier they become. Fact.
The United States. South Korea. Japan.
Why is it that socialism almost always fails....yet...capitalism almost always works?
I agree. Capitalism is currently in the late fall or early winter of its lifespan.
I agree that capitalism is good - if fairly regulated and supported by democratic socialism.
Socialism and capitalism have always co-existed in America. Socialism is not a bad thing. It is a foundation in this country of ours. Claiming socialism is bad because of radical and non-factual comparisons to Hitler and Stalin is like saying all guns are bad because of the Columbine killers and Jared Loughner. Socialism is a glue that binds us together and makes possible the things that we could not accomplish as individuals working against each other.
