This may well end up as one of the coolest mid-Aprils in Northwest history.

One sign was the great Portland snowstorm of April 11th, where several areas around Portland received 2-6 inches of wet snow. Branches were broken around the region, leading to nearly 40,000 people losing power.

It has been a cool sprig here for sure also (Southern Indiana) ... 2 or 3 mornings in April that is the 20s??... uh...no..
This time of year, according to Weather Channel the average lows in mid 40s and average highs mid 60s.
The entire week last week never even reached 60. Right now it is 62.

That's correct, but it depends when.
If it snows in June, that's cold
Otherwise... The biggest snows I see are when its right around freezing or just below.
It takes warm moist air for precipitation.
COLD/COLDEST in Winter months is 7 degrees and very clear/high pressure when the Arctic express comes through. .

No that's a lie/Mischaracterization you always emptily Hostile POS.

Obviously it takes 'cold' (app 32 degrees or below) to Snow.
What I DID say was it takes warm moist air to meet the degree of 'cold' TO snow.
And pointed out the ColdEST (single digit) days are high High Pressure Clear Polar Express days and ergo do not necessarily mean it's relatively cold for that time of year/winter.
