Roe vs. Wade ruling allowed abortions up to 24 weeks which is well past 50% of the pregnancy time to gestation which means 16 weeks left yet that was never good enough for the greedy Democrats who wanted it all despite that only 1% aborts past 16 weeks' time thus a waste of time which is why republicans who at first didn't do much began to oppose it on reasonable grounds but they became fanatical too to demand abolish abortions completely.
