I do notice that people like to portray nutjobs as representative of an entire group or ideology. Thats not the case. I like to look at people as individuals and judge them as individuals. If we did that more in America instead of blindly following one group or another because of the letter next to their name maybe this country wouldn't be so F'd up. There are plenty of POS in both the political parties. We shouldn't be defending them when they are wrong regardless of the affiliation. Unfortunately there are so many POS politicians that we feel we must defend the undefendable even though we know its not right. We need to start judging people as individuals. I wish we could just do away with the 2 party system and force everyone to be independant.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! WHY THE FUCK ARE THERE SO MANY RETARDED THREADS EVERYDAY NOW!!!?!?!!?!?....
Oh, elections, I remember now...
Let's see, JD Salinger (Catcher in the Rye) got John Lennon killed. Jodie Foster almost got Regan killed.
If this guy tried to connect dots like that, you'd have a point. That's quite different from Beck's rabble rousing, and the threats of violence we've seen with the tea baggers.
Who is threatening violence?
Normally, it would be easy to write this guy off as a kook, but in today's society, he sounds like a basic tea bagger.
Accused Oakland, CA Shooter: Glenn Beck 'Blew My Mind'
In audio interviews obtained by MediaMatters, accused shooter Byron Williams says Fox News host Glenn Beck "blew my mind" with "the things he exposed."
Williams is charged with allegedly opening fire on police on Interstate 580 in Oakland, California, while on his way to "start a revolution" by attacking members of the ACLU and the Tides Foundation. As we've reported, the Tides Foundation is a favorite punching bag of Glenn Beck's, and he counts the group among his cabal of liberals aiming to bring socialism to America.
In the audio, Williams says that he looks at Beck "more like a schoolteacher" than a newscaster, and that he began watching Fox News just to see Beck:
And it was the things that he did, it was the things he exposed that blew my mind. Beck would never say anything about a conspiracy, would never advocate violence, he'll never do anything like, of this nature, but he'll give you every ounce of evidence that you could possibly need.

son of sam said his dog told him to kill....
Looks like we are going to have to take a look at all the people who commit crimes in this country and determine what ideology they most like adhere to. Apparently thats what you are saying. Im pretty sure that every crime commited is because of one ideology or another right? Not for any other reason.
When you get into crimes of terrorism, which Byron Williams was into, it's not so cut and dried. It's more likely to be ideology based.
You think that's a joke? It's not.
You think that's a joke? It's not.
You think that's a joke? It's not.
Americans have the Constitutional Right to overthrow their government.
And, as Dr House has so brilliantly pointed out, pictures can no longer be accepted at face value.
You think that's a joke? It's not.
That's the precise point I made in the OP. Between overt threats of armed insurrection by the tea baggers, and the veiled calls to arms by people like Angle, the Oakland shooter, Williams, doesn't sound as insane as some would like to dismiss him as being.

Take it at face value it is not a joke. When duly elected government becomes a tranical government yes we have that right. When a duly elected government over steps it's authority yes we have that right. Lets take a look at the 1st amendment
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Congress did not allow this to happen this year. When people sent in lettters and phonce call to their congressional reps they did not listen.

As I said, I don't take the threats of armed insurrection by the tea baggers, because they didn't get their way at the polls, as a joke. Williams and other domestic terrorists are a testament to that.

The polls have nothing to do with it. what has something to do with it is how Congress acted this year.
