I believe the ACLU is just advocating for a quicker path to execution. Had this man not been on death row for 30 years but executed quicker, he wouldn't have had to "suffer" for so long.

As an aside, what Is with so many rapists coming out with a trans-woman identity? Is it a sign of a porn addled mind resulting in the rape and subsequent auto-gynophelia?
