Police added that no combustible material was found on the site, nor was there any sign of a break in. Walla, Haaretz and Ynet all quoted Palestinian sources blaming the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria for the blaze. Walla said that there were "growing indications that the fire was set deliberately as part of the settler's 'price tag' campaign." Haaretz had written that the Israeli Secret Service (Shabak) suspected settlers as well. Meanwhile, in the foreign media, the Reuters headline on the story read "Jewish settlers blamed for West Bank mosque fire", and the AFP ran a story headlined "Settlers torch West Bank mosque: Palestinians" Last edited: Aug 6, 2011
