Al Franken hasn't resigned yet, so why do people keep talking as if he has? He made clear during his statement that he disputes the allegations against him (the photo is relatively meaningless), and that he wants the Senate Ethics Committee to determine whether he should be expelled. Actually, I would enjoy seeing him put off his "resignation" indefinitely, as a joke on the morons who take anything he says at his word.

He has to make the rounds at Holiday office parties. Hang out by the mistletoe...take a few pics...

Who the he'll fondles the breasts of a hot white female..then decides he might resign in a few weeks?

Just a delaying tactic. If Moore wins, he can back out of it to keep the GOP from having more votes.

If Moore wins, Franken will go to McConnell. Both resign or no one resigns.

Franken is a liberal Democrat.

Democrats lie.

Liberal Democrats don't even understand what a lie is.

So until Gropey Old Al is eking out a bare living carrying coffee to SNL players then, no, no reason at all to believe in his resignation.

If there were no Roy Moore race, there wouldn't have been a Franken resignation. The Democrats would have circled the wagon as they did with Clinton and a number of other Democrats in similar situations.

This dog and pony show is to prove that Democrats "do the right thing" when the time calls for it. They expect Republicans to respond to their nonsense by turning on Moore to keep up with the Jones's. It's not going to work.

It seems the people in Alabama are a lot smarter than the rest of the country gives them credit for. They can see through the smoke and mirrors to find the man behind the curtain. Big city libs allow the MSM to do their thinking for them. So it seems, the good people of Alabama are not going to be suckered into this political game the left constantly plays.

If he is innocent, then he should stay and fight.

If he is innocent, then why did he announce he was going to resign?

That is my question. If someone is innocent they need to stay and fight, if they are innocent and resign, it sets a bad precedent. Innocent people need to fight so it protects other innocent people in the future.

The precedent was set a few years back. When wealthy people got accused of something, they simply paid money to make the accusations go away. Today, women are coming out of the woodwork to talk about their supposed attacks from many years ago. If their motive isn't money, it's either political or the desire to have their names in newspapers.
