It would certainly change world maps if the Russian Federation broke up. China would certainly see this as an opportunity to expand as well as the Central Asian republics and nations in Europe.

The more likely outcome is that Putin is deposed from within. The resultant government would stop the war, denounce Putin's atrocities and offer compensation to Ukraine. This would allow political cover for the West to lift sanctions and normalize trade in short order. That is the Russian off ramp.
