As we exited the LIA the solar output at TOA was about 1360. Today it borders 1361.7Wm^2. That equates to approximately a 2% increase in solar output directed outward from the sun. Gravitational (magnetic wave) output, also a source of energy for our atmosphere is near record setting lows. A drop of 12% in just the last 10 years. Proton output is in the toilet!

As you can see from the SOURCE project graph above, we are now on the cooling side of the this long solar cycle (720-900 year long solar cycle). Let us hope this is a gradual decline and not a rapid decline as seen in global glacial cycles, which last 90,000 years on average. The next two or three 13 year solar cycles will tell the tale.
