Absolutely! My son was born with an undescended testicle which had to be corrected by surgery when he was very small. Later in his early 30s, he developed cancer and had to have it removed.

They named it that because they come in around the age you become a young adult, and supposedly have acquired some wisdom. (These days, though….)

Mine were removed at age 20.

Seems strange. Mine were extracted at Parris Island Marine boot camp when I was 18. Not a pleasant experience to say the least..

I never got mine pulled since they didn't cause any issues with my teeth. Most dentist want to pull them because they claim it's hard to brush them properly...
