Apathy is a weakness. Denial of facts is a weakness. Delusional thinking is a weakness. A significant portion of Americans are showing weakness by being apathetic, in denial, and delusional about facts and reality. The United States of America is in decline as she faces a crisis of epic proportions without a viable leader as a President. The Federal Government has become rudderless in a storm. America's only leadership has come from Governors and individuals who in their naturally fragmented efforts are keeping America afloat as they try to save as many lives as possible in a pandemic, despite hindrance and harassment from their President.
The question America faces is whether they will allow a minority of misguided weak citizens to destroy their nation. Will they allow a cult of followers of their failed President to forget America is supposed to be the Home of the Brave. Will the frightened and scared be allowed to destroy America?
America honors above all else, heroes, whether military or civilian, who sacrifice anything and everything to save the lives of other Americans as a tradition. An American tradition is being lost and when it is lost, America's soul will be lost.
