An Homage To The Democrat Party

Or….Remedial Education: Socialism 101

CliffsNotes version: Socialism is theft.

Now, the details.

1.There is this definition of socialism:
any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods

a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property

b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state Definition of SOCIALISM

2. Recognizing how odious this system would be for any who favor liberty, ersatz socialists like to put ‘democratic’ in front of the word, as though that makes any difference. As the saying goes, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.
The Democratic Socialists of America, the DSA. remains the principle branch of the Socialist International, whose primary goal is global governance under worldwide socialism.

You WANT monopolies? Monopolies destroy capitalism.

I want liberty, freedom and the America of the Founders, based on individualism, free markets, and limited constitutional government.....

....not the collective, command and control regulation of private industry, and overarching government that can order every aspect of the private citizen's life....right down to control of his thoughts and speech.

Why did you never question this in government school??????

No guts, or no intelligence?

Research allows us to determine which major party is aligned with socialism, and rejects capitalism, free markets, and the profit motive.

While Republicans and unaffiliated voters overwhelmingly say that capitalism is better, just 43% of Democrats agree. Twenty-four percent (24%) of Democrats say socialism is better.
60 Say Capitalism Better Than Socialism - Rasmussen Reports

Once again, no big surprise, but those who favor capitalism or socialism are divided in a partisan way as well. Republicans favor capitalism by an 11-1 margin, while democrats are much more divided on the issue; 39% say they favor capitalism while 30% favor socialism.
Rasmussen Poll Capitalism vs. Socialism 53 Prefer Capitalism Right Pundits

The most striking partisan differences come in reactions to the word "socialism." Just 15% of Republicans react positively to "socialism" while 77% react negatively. By more than two-to-one (64% to 26%), independents also have a negative impression of "socialism."

However, Democrats are evenly divided -- 44% have a positive reaction to "socialism" while 43% react negatively
Socialism Not So Negative Capitalism Not So Positive Pew Research Center

A 2012 Gallup poll found that 53 percent of Democrats and 39 percent of Americans more generally had a positive reaction to the word socialism. Democrats, Republicans Diverge on Capitalism, Federal Gov't

Therefore, changing the name "Democrat Party" to "Socialist Party" would have a negligible effect.

And, btw......difference between 'socialist' and 'communist' depends, largely, upon what day of the week it is.

Green new deal, Medicare for all, punitive tax rates, control over your food choices etc.

Thanks for the reply .

Those don’t fit the definition of “gov owned / controlled “. Even Medicare for all is just a safety net for those who can’t get their own coverage.

And since when are taxes a socialist thing ?
Medicare is the government, what the hell? Everything else is also government owned in the GND, when they mandate what you can and can’t have they are controlling every business in the country.

I should keep you on retainer....you set 'em up, so I can knock 'em down.

Watch me do it, dummy:

Government control of every industry....i.e., socialism.....is via what you call 'regulations.'

Most important to the tyrants...er, Congressmen....is that by producing regulations that control businesses....said businesses have to bribe....er, lobby....the Representative to put in loopholes.

Ending regulation is an existential danger to their sinecures: they go to Washington to do good, and end up doing well.

Every notice how many Congressmen leave government far richer than when they went in?

Trump is a detriment to their profits/wealth, and here is the explanation:
"Trump kills 16 regulations for every new one, crushing 2-for-1 goal"
Trump kills 16 regulations for every new one, crushing 2-for-1 goal

Most regulations are, in terms of what they are alleged to do, are actually there to be bribed away by the industries that they inhibit.
The pols write them, the corporations pay lobbyists to bribe the pols to insert loopholes....

....hence poor men come to Washington to do good, and leave as millionaires, having made good.

Trump is a threat to their sinecures.

Now....you didn't ask, but here is more you didn't learn from government school: the love our 32nd President had for Bolshevism and Fascism allowed him to take Mussolini's fascist economic plan and install it here as The New Deal.

It is known as 'crony capitalism.'

'Among the early Roosevelt fascist measures was the National Industry Recovery Act (NRA) of June 16, 1933 .... [these ideas] were first suggested by Gerard Swope (of the General Electric company)... They were adopted by the United States Chamber of Commerce. During the campaign of 1932, Henry I. Harriman, president of that body, urged that I agree to support these proposals, informing me that Mr. Roosevelt had agreed to do so.

I tried to show him that this stuff was sheer fascism; that it was a remaking of Mussolini's "corporate state" and refused to agree to any of it. He informed me that in view of my attitude, the business world would support Roosevelt with money and influence. That for the most part proved true."

That's pure bullshit. If wages rise, productivity must rise and the employees must steadily produce more per hour. But there are good workers and there are crappy workers. Giving an across the board raise to everyone equally doesn't mean the overall production is going to increase. There will still be over-paid crappy workers who are being paid the same as the good productive workers.

Now let me ask you: Where the hell is the incentive for me to increase my production if my fellow co-worker is getting paid the same, and is producing less?

Fuck that. I quit. Take this job and shove it.

In terms of economic policy, the operative difference between capitalism and socialism is whether private property is allowed by the system.

Certainly not if government owns everything.

If there is any need for verification of the abject stupidity of the Leftists, and those too dumb to realize what they have agreed to...

" OCCUPY WALL STREET GENIUS SAYS HE’S AGAINST “PRIVATE” PROPERTY, NOT “PERSONAL” PROPERTY

....that’s because he wants to keep his iPad 2, naturally, and not share it with the shiftless vagrants fighting over access to one of the three Porta-Potties recently delivered to the now-evacuated camp site in lower Manhattan.”
Occupy Wall Street Genius Says He's Against "Private" Property, Not "Personal" Property | Human Events

He, and every Democrat voter, misses the point: it suddenly dawns on the dopes that they own nothing.
Somehow, it's fine if government takes what that 'top 1%' legally owned....but not what they own.

Dolts like our pal Timmy, and all Democrat voters, don't know is who that 'top 1% is.'
Who are the ‘Top 1%,” so reviled by the class warriors?

  1. "If the Occupy Wall Street protests are aiming to take down the "1 percent" of Americans who control the increasingly largest chunk of our nation's wealth, perhaps they need to redirect their efforts to somewhere other than Wall Street.
  2. According to Nicole Lapin of CNN, financial services professionals make up just 14 percent of that top 1 percent of wage earners. Their average salary of $311,000 per year, while quite gaudy, falls just below the threshold needed to break into the highest-earning subset.
  3. The biggest single group of professionals in the top one percent is actually doctors, who make up 16 percent of that subset.
  4. Executives and managers outside of finance make up 31% of the total, but Lapin didn't break them down by industry.
  5. David Carr of The New York Times would also like to offer up his bosses as targets for the mass uprising, pointing out in his column today that media executives are some of the worst offenders when it comes to CEOs who reap multi-million dollar bonuses and golden parachutes by slashing budgets and laying off rank-and-file workers. Go ahead and add them to the list.
  6. So those who want to direct their anger at the winners in the income inequality sweepstakes might want to look beyond the lower of half of Manhattan. There's plenty of other folks closer to home that you might want to have a word with. Where Does the Top 1% Really Work? - The Atlantic
  7. Lawyers make up 9 percent. The 1 Percent Are Not All Wall Streeters—They're the Bosses
  8. To get into the “top 1%” of Americans you don’t need to be a billionaire or millionaire or half-millionaire. The minimum wage earners in that group make about $343k/year….The “top 1%” of wage earners earn 17% of the nation’s income. Who the Heck Are the "Top 1%"?!!

Socialism is theft.
And socialist government will steal what you have, too.
we still subscribe to capitalism.

socialism requires social morals for free.
